Howdy, pardner!
I'm back from Texas! A few people asked if I was gonna be in Austin, but I was in Richardson. Sorry if I hadn't kept up to date with my LiveJournal comments. And.. I'm not going back to read eleven days worth of friends' entries. Sorry~ ^^; Anyway, so yeah. My trip was awesome. Like... like... I don't even know where to start! So let's see...
Day 1 - WEDNESDAY
Went straight home from work in the morning, despite my coworkers' persuasive attempts to get me to go to breakfast at Cracker Barrel. It's a good thing I declined, because I hadn't a minute to spare between the time it took me to finish packing and make sure everything around the house was okay, and being time to head out the door. So Mom dropped me off at the airport, which saved me lots of parking money (thanks cat), and being my first time at the airport, I had pretty much no idea what to do. But I managed. It was all rushed and hectic going through security, and even quite frustrating, but once I got through all that everything calmed down and it was swell. I ate at California Tortilla, had me a quesadilla while waiting for the plane to board. First time ever on a plane. Taking off was incredible. The plane must've been going at least 40 mph during takeoff. Insanity. So after a few hours in the air, I landed, and was greeted by Jen. She's... a little taller than I imagined (I'm a little shorter than she'd imagined too XD).. but anyway! So we took a long bus ride back to her apartment, taking a break to snack on some cordial cherries and Fritos since no eating was allowed on the bus. ..Even though this guy was eating a McDonalds burger. Well Jen and I obeyed the rules. Anyway, so we got to her apartment, I settled in, and by this time it was getting a little~ late, so we went out for dinner and ate at this Noodle Bar place which was good.. And we chatted for awhile, and yeah.

Clouds.

The view was pretty awesome.

I doodled on the plane. Whee~

Is there a better way to grab my attention than holding a mundane sign with "Andy" written on it? Oh yes.

Seeing Jen in pink and a skirt and all that is extremely rare. She did it for me. X3
Day 2 - THURSDAY
For the first time in forever, I had a peanut butter and honey sandwich. Jen introduced me to imitation honey, which.. I dunno if it's because my taste buds have changed so much since it's been so long, but it tastes like the real deal! Jen had PBJ. We used these cat cookie cutters she has from Halloween, and had cat shaped sandwiches. XD Then she had to go to work, but nobody came in for tutoring, so we pretty much sat around for a few hours and watched Darkwing Duck. Then we hit Target for some groceries. Grocery shopping with Jen... total awesomeness. By the end of the day we were exhausted and had no trouble falling asleep.

When Jen spreads peanut butter, she leaves no bread white showing. At all.

Imitation honey! Same great taste, but not filtered through a bee.

Mrow?

Watching Darkwing Duck at work. ..She made me wear the pink hat. XD I complained not.

Heart balloon!

Aww~

Jen said that I should eat these, but it would be cannibalism.

I made this out of a few odds and ends laying around Jen's room while she showered.. For those who don't know, it's Snakeye, an OC of mine.
Day 3 - FRIDAY
We each needed a little "me time," and I downloaded Guild Wars onto Jen's laptop (with permission of course ^^) and played that for awhile.. Hard to do on a laptop, and so I couldn't really take advantage of the Eye of the North Reputation Weekend and achieve the Legendary Delver title like I'd hoped. Oh well. At least I'm close. XD Anyway, so then we made Boca Spicy Chik’n Patties. So good! Then we went outside because it was a beautiful day, we walked a bunch, laid in the grass and rolled down a hill.. we played DDR, and we went to a concert. We left during intermission though.. I'm not good with crowds. ..Quiet crowds, anyway. Anyway, so we got home, and... got in bed and fell asleep. I was out.

Jen drew smiley hearts with condiments.

Jen plays piano.
Day 4 - SATURDAY
For the day, Jen dressed as me, and I dressed as her. The weather was very nice. We went to Veggie Garden for dinner, and the food was just... amazing. They had a lot of mock meats on the menu. We shared some mushroom appetizer with spicy ketchup (the sauce was too much for my palette), and we shared our entrées too. I had this beef over noodle thing and she had some pork thing or another. And the strawberry soy shake was so good~ And the lady that worked there was very nice, and everything just... gaah! I so wanted to eat there again before I left Texas to try a few more things on the menu, but sadly that didn't happen. So after we ate at Veggie Garden, we went to some Chinatown place and picked up a few groceries there. It stunk of fish though. But what really freaked me out was when Jen stood facing away from me, I swear she looked exactly like me from behind when my hair was that length. It was almost kind of scary, even looking at her from a 45° angle from behind I could easily imagine her turning around and having my face. It was like... watching myself at the store. Anyway! So after a long walk home, we went to bed... and swapped our jammies too. XD We ended up actually trading them in the long run. I now own Jen's old jammies, and she, mine.

This was before I changed into her clothes.. I eventually changed into her Lemon Demon shirt and chili pepper pants.

She's wearing my shoes and everything.

How does she look better in my clothes than I do!

I dunno what these white plants were outside, but Jen and I both agree they look delicious.

Silver and blue fire hydrant!! Yes, I always freak when I see a fire hydrant that isn't solid yellow. I also saw a few there that were silver and yellow. They were like... crossbreeds. Between Texas fire hydrants and my ones at home. XD
Day 5 - SUNDAY
This was our lazy day. We stayed in our jammies and didn't leave the house all day. We just... loafed around the house. We watched a few of those old Sonic the Hedgehog episodes and took a nap.. Then we sautéed some mushrooms because I'm still totally in my mushroom phase, and then we had some vegan ice cream. Then we were all hyped up, and watched YouTube Poop all night while laughing our heads off.

Oh yeah. You open that can of mushrooms, Jen.

Mushrooms~!

/drool

The picture makes them look more oily than they really were.

Ice cream! With... with... strawberry syrup. And maraschino cherries. And raspberries. And rainbow Twizzlers!

And speaking of Twizzlers... Hey, whatever works.

Aww~ More condiment fun. We finished the Chik'n Patties.
Day 6 - MONDAY
There was a power outage sometime over the night, and so Jen's alarm clock didn't wake her up. She was late to work, but so was everyone else that day because of the power outage. I stayed home and lolly gagged. Then we made some stir fry with edamame. And... I went to school with her. Fun fun. It snowed that night and Jen and Jarvis (her roommate) were all excited about that. Silly Texans. It didn't take very long to melt the next day.

Yum yum~

Poltergeist Pierogi with onions and more mushrooms since we bought so much.

Bean cake. :D
Day 7 - TUESDAY
We put clothespins on our clothes and in our hair and went to Target for a few items. It's funny, because she and I were just acting all normal, and some people would look at us for a split second before making no eye contact at all with us while others would stare from a distance. Heehee~ Oh. And Jen threw a snowball at me. So I threw one right back at her. Upon returning home, Jen had to rush to work. She didn't have time to eat or anything. I made lunch and brought it to her. :3 ..After work she showed me how to make sushi. It looks fairly easy. We made it with like, avocado, red bell pepper, cucumber, and a sliver of Tofutti cream cheese.

A smiley face out of crescent rolls. ..There were more, but we couldn't stop eating the dough waiting for the oven to preheat.

Clothespins. We're all ready to go to the store now. XD
Day 8 - WEDNESDAY
Didn't do too much during the day.. We napped some.. We rode bikes! It's been forever since I rode a bike, but it didn't take long for me to get the hang of. It's a lot like... riding a bike.. Anyway, so we rode bikes to Veggie Garden, but it's closed on Wednesdays! Jen forgot. Luckily there was this buffet place close by, but it, too, was closed. For no reason. The sign said open Monday through Friday during such and such hours. Lies! We ended up making food at home.

So we didn't get to eat at Veggie Garden, but this was good.
Day 9 - THURSDAY
We made matzo ball soup. And.. the weather was looking kind of iffy, and evening classes were canceled. So Jen got to stay home all day. We had falafel too. And~ cake mix! Yes. Jen and I ate cake mix. Just added a little soy milk to make it moist and chowed down while watching Monk. Later, the cake mix got to us and we were laughing like crazy over the stupidest things, past the point of our sides hurting.

Mmm. Cake mix.
Day 10 - FRIDAY
Jen came down with something, she was sneezing and coughing all day. D: We didn't do too much other than watch a few more episodes of Monk. We went to bed early that night since I had to be up early to leave the next day..

Jen's all wrapped up in my cocoon.

Yes. Rocky came to Texas with me. :B

Hi Jen.

I dunno what's cuter, crescent rolls making a heart as a whole, or them looking like larvae as individuals.

Coco Tapioca.

I'm wearing her Lemon Demon shirt.

Hey, I look good in a skirt. XD
Day 11 - SATURDAY
We got out of bed early, I packed my things, and left. Jen came with me to the airport and we said our goodbyes. Saw the last of her going through security. I ate at Manchu WOK, which was right next to where I had to wait to board the plane. Flying after it got dark was pretty nifty, seeing all the city lights and stuff. Mom and Melssa picked me up from the airport and we went to Wegmans for a few things before heading home.

At the airport with a bit of time to spare.

Jen had surprise gifts for me. She bought me the discounted Valentine's Day stuff I never got around to getting myself. ^^ Shower hooks, some bars of soap, a welcome thingie for the door, some washcloths, a potholder, some oven mitts, and a liquid soap dispenser.
IN A NUTSHELL
Jen and I are like two breads in a biscuit. It's crazy how much we have in common, both in interests and just... the little things we do. She introduced me to a few vegan items and restaurants. We had a lot of fun together, being... well... us. Her roommate, Jarvis, seemed pretty cool. He pretty much kept to himself the whole time though so we didn't have much interaction with each other.
And now before you all go asking, "Did you and Jen kiss??" We did. Butterfly kiss and eskimo kiss. Oh yeah. ;D XD
Potential significant other? Maybe. We'll see what happens through time.
..It's kind of good to be back home. I think the time I spent with Jen was neither too short nor too long. She seems to feel the same way about that too.
Well then! Time for me to scoot. Gottafinish start unpacking, get my new heart items up around my home, and eat something. Vegan doughnut holes. Yeah!
I'm back from Texas! A few people asked if I was gonna be in Austin, but I was in Richardson. Sorry if I hadn't kept up to date with my LiveJournal comments. And..
